Rick Marks is a family law attorney in Kent, Ohio. Rick was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University and the University of Akron School of Law. He met his wife, Beth, through their common interest in running. They were married in 1995. In the same year, they co-founded Marks & Chandler Co., L.P.A. in Kent as a two-attorney law firm focused solely on practicing family law.
Beth ultimately transitioned her practice to education law (a natural fit for the former high school teacher), representing public school teachers and employees for the Ohio Education Association. Rick continued Marks & Chandler as a solo practice law firm.
Rick and Beth live in Summit County. They have two daughters. Nathalie is a recent graduate of The Ohio State University. Anna currently attends The Ohio State University. In their leisure time, Rick and Beth enjoy hiking, biking, and getting together with family and friends.
